The Philodendron Prince of Orange is an uncommon houseplant. This plant has an unusual bright orange color to the newest leaf. That orange leaf eventually becomes bronze, then eventually fading down to a typical green color. Like many other philodendrons new growth can display the ‘undertone’ of the leaf’s base color. Whipple Way, Pink Congo, and Strawberry Shake are all examples of this new growth ‘undertone’.
