This plant enjoys full sun! in fact it requires 6-8 hours of full sun in order to bloom at all! Very well draining soil is very important to prevent root rot. larger pots require less water then smaller sized pots. fertilize only when blooming or growing new foliage, when dormant no fertilizer is needed. This plant is fully rooted and ready to grow! Plumeria are deciduous trees meaning they go dormant during the winter and won't produce new growth till spring time.
