Calathea Makoyana also known as the ‘Peacock Plant’ has round, light and dark green leaves with a pattern that resembles a peacock’s tail or cathedral windows. The leaves also have an iridescence that shimmers in the light and an acrylic feel. The undersides of the leaves are burgundy in color.

Prefers medium to bright indirect light, high humidity, and shielded from direct sun or breezy window as this decreases the humidity the Calathea needs to survive indoors. Temperature ranges should be between 72-75 degrees F. When repotting, use a media that drains well, and feed every other week following the fertilizers directions.
