The Ficus Lyrata Bambino has an extremely compact, upright, branching nature, with smaller and thicker leaves compared to Ficus Lyrata. Leaf shape is the same amazing fiddle-shape with somewhat lighter veining. It’s important to know that there are two different variants. The Ficus Lyrata that will eventually grow big leaves. The Bambino Fiddle leaf fig, even when it grows big in height, won’t ever get those extra big fiddle shaped leaves.

This plant does best indoors with bright, indirect light. It will tolerate lower light conditions but with less creamy variegation on the new leaves. A relatively low maintenance house plant, do not to overwater this plant. If the roots sit in water, they can suffer from root rot and fungus gnats can become an issue. Water the plant more during the summer months and scale back during the winter months. During warmer months feed your plant once per month with a half-strength balanced liquid fertilizer.
