Alocasia Clypeolata Green Shield 4″ Pot

(6 customer reviews)

This Alocasia likes medium to brighter light, but hates direct sunlight. When this plant has to much light it lightens in color and produces smaller leaves. Green Shields like to be water often, this helps the new growth thrive.

The Alocasia Clypeolata 'Green Shield' is a strong little Alocasia.  The leaves are a medium green with deep green contrast in the venation. This plant makes for a great indoor or garden plant (in tropical environments). A fast grower, this plant loves lots of water and indirect light. This plant also sizes up fast, upotting when root bound is recommended.

Green Shield is a beautiful plant, I have a few different acolasia’s including Regal Shield, it’s brother more or less and the Green Shield has got to be my favorite and the prettiest of the bunch. These guys were gracious enough to even give me another one absolutely free without me even knowing. Was a very welcome surprise to not only see that I have two, but that they were in excellent condition as well. No broken or torn leaves, no limp, bent or broken stems, and still moist and strong. Both plants are doing fantastic and I will be a repeat customer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***Plant Hawaii***
